Sunflower creates a safe learning environment where every child can develop holistically. Aside from developing the child’s knowledge in academic subjects, we inculcate empathy and confidence into them. That way, we prepare every Sunflower kid to bloom and take on the challenges of tomorrow.
Your Child Is Safe In Our Hands
Child First Aid Trained
We place utmost emphasis on your child’s safety. Aside from our teachers, all centre staff are child first-aid trained, so someone is always available in times of emergency.
Health Monitoring
Our teachers conduct multiple health checks on your child in a day. Not only do our teachers record your child’s temperature, but your child is also observed for external injuries that may have surfaced throughout the day. This information is conveyed to your mobile phone, via our Sunflower App.
Recorded Pickups
When parents enrol their children in our centres, they designate the people that can pick up their child at the end of the day. Only adults authorised by parents are allowed to pick up the child, and the pick-up details are sent to your phone.
Our Meals
Our meals are endorsed by the Health Promotion Board and contain the essential nutrients needed for children as they grow. These meals are specially prepared by culinary experts and expose our children to various textures, scents and flavours.
Our centres are accredited under the Healthy Meals in Pre-schools Programme (HMPP), with some attaining the Platinum accreditation. The HMPP is an initiative by the Health Promotion Board to empower preschools to serve healthier meals and educate children on good nutrition and eating habits.

Sunflower encourages parents to play an active role in the development of their child. We do so in a few ways:

Join your child and engage with them during their learning journeys, which happens every few months.
Meet the Parents Sessions
Sessions with our teachers and centre managers to understand your child’s progress and development.
Community Involvement Programmes
Be a role model for your children and take part in our many community involvement programmes alongside them.
Preschool Management App
To maintain crystal clear communication with the parents of our children, we have a Preschool Management App.
Lessons
Stay updated on your child’s curriculum, so that you may engage with them on what they’ve learnt and help them get prepared for upcoming lessons. This platform also serves as a medium for parent-teacher communication.
Safety & Security
Stay updated with our daily health checks and receive important updates if your child is feeling unwell. Additionally, feel at ease knowing that your child has been picked up by someone authorised by you.
